Counselling Services

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
-Carl Rogers-
Making the decision to start counselling can be a daunting feeling. Often, many unexpected questions arise such as
What if it doesn't
work?
What if they tell other people, what I share?
What if the counsellor judges me?
What if I over
share?
Having these kind of doubts and worries is normal, I asked myself these questions and many more before starting counselling as a client myself.
Welcome to TQ Counselling Services

At TQ Counselling Services, my practice is grounded in both professional training and personal lived experience. I understand firsthand how overwhelming and isolating mental health challenges can be—and I know the courage it takes to seek support.

My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where you can feel heard, understood, and respected—without judgment. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a space where we can work together to explore what’s going on for you.

You are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you—helping you navigate difficult emotions, explore past and present experiences, and find ways to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I hold a Master's degree in Child and Family Psychology and a Master's degree in Clinical Counselling. I’m a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), committed to ethical, evidence-based practice.

Based in Chester, I offer counselling for adults and young people, either in-person or online via video (Teams)—whichever feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
